Getting Involved

Academic Experiences at the Farm - If you want to develop experiential learning opportunities for your class, please get in touch with us at iufarm@indiana.edu to schedule a visit and meeting.

Working at the Farm - The Campus Farm is currently hiring a part-time, hourly student employee for the Spring semester. Employee would be expected to commit to the full growing and harvest season, approximately March through October. If you are interested, please reach out with your resumé and cover letter to iufarm@indiana.edu.

Volunteering at the Farm - If you want to volunteer at the Campus Farm, email adiersin@iu.edu or iufarm@indiana.edu to inquire.

Researching at the Farm - The IU Campus Farm is part of IU's Research and Teaching Preserve. If you are an IU student interested in conducting a research project on the farm, check out funding opportunities at https://preserve.indiana.edu/resources/rtp-grant.html.

Student Farm Advisory Team - The Student Farm Advisory Team will act as a student portion of the farm advisory board. This group will represent student interest as it relates to food, production, and the Campus Farm. The team also has the potential to evolve into a Campus Farm-centered student organization as interest in the farm expands. This group's work is coordinated by the Campus Garden and Farm Intern through the IU Office of Sustainability. Please contact iufarm@indiana.edu if you are interested in the Student Farm Advisory Team.
